Last week, from the brain of resident Thanksgiving-enthusiast Daniel Shapiro, Points brought out the Turkey with all the fixings. That’s right, the Points Social Committee chartered the gravy train to our front doors and catered the employee common room with a Thanksgiving feast.

The pumpkin pies were post-spectacular. The stuffing sensational.  Marvelous mashed potatoes. The bird – big time! What a spread! There were even vegetarian options of tofu and lasagna! What choice!

The Thanksgiving buffet in all its glory

Decked out in the finest of fall colours, the common area (also named The Distillery) shone in autumn splendour.  Pumpkin decorations descended from the ceiling to dance above our happy cranberry sauce glazed faces.  Festive pine-cone and gourd centrepieces kept thankful themes intact.

Smorgasbord aside, the Social Committee was able to connect with the Daily Bread and Food Bank and raise $705.55 for those in need of nourishment during the holiday season.  This continues Points’ long line of engagement within the Toronto community.
