Meet Peter Pham, a Web Developer by day, martial arts coach by night and this week’s featured Pointster. Peter has worn the Pointster badge for a year-and-a-half. When he’s not facing fellow Pointsters on the office foosball field, he can be found in his gym teaching Muay Thai and gorging on barbecued food.

Peter is just a guy on a quest to be the very best, like no one ever was (Pokémon, anyone?) Read on to get to know Peter, in his own words!

What is the top item on your bucketlist?

I want to be the best! But I guess I’d settle for “Extremely Great, to a degree that few can fathom and secretly is the best, but plays it cool.” – poorlydrawnlines

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island, what three movies would you bring?

Dark night (because, BATMAN), Inside the World of Championship Barbeque (to learn how to cook my food), and Blood Sport (to survive).

If you could see one concert, what would it be?

I want to see all of the greatest concerts ever played in one venue. They’d be invited to compete in a do-or-die Battle of the Bands where the losers are quickly terminated and the winner is rewarded by the sound of my gentle slow clap. Or AC/DC. That’d be cool too.

What’s your favourite way to spend a Friday night?

At my Muay Thai Gym (shameless plug), at a pub, gaming or watching Dark Knight while barbecuing on a deserted island.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise people.

I know the way to sesame street.

What one person from the past or present would you like to have dinner with, and why?

My younger self to tell him to invest in Google.

What are your words to live by?

“A heart so true, our courage will pull us through. You teach me and I’ll teach you” – Pokémon, Gotta Catch ‘Em All.

Are there any projects you’re working on at Points right now that you can tell us about?

I’m currently working on a project that allows a loyalty program members friends or family to transfer points/miles to them for free so they can accumulate all of the rewards and put it towards one big redemption.

What makes Points different from other companies you have worked at?

The skill level in Foosball is fairly high.

What trend or fad are you embarrassed/proud to have been a part of?

The “Robot Dance Craze”:
